    1. Decentralised tech with crap UX and a high knowledge barrier to understand what is going on will face the same problems as crypto and web3 Great for nerds and “futurists” / “technologists” but you won’t achieve critical mass adoption, and without that audience, you’re screwed

    The majority of people simply don’t care about data stewardship or centralised power structures or anything else. I barely care, I’m just here for @weirdlilguys and sports twitter It’s gotta be fun, and it can’t make people think too hard. Look at the meteoric rise of Tik Tok
