    @evanderkoogh Agree! If every developer always did this, things would be great. The reality in many team environments is that this is not the case, and sometimes you need to work with inherited legacy code that you don’t always get the chance to refactor. In these cases, comments are essential

      @evanderkoogh And again - even with self documenting code, you aren’t going to “lose points” by providing extra context in comments. Always aim for clean code, sure — but seeing comments as a negative or something to avoid is a red flag for me.
